Turning Resilience into Action

Hypnose Humanitaire develops and shares practical approaches to resilience, psychosocial support and emotional regulation for humanitarian workers and communities facing crisis.

By combining field experience, neuroscience-inspired approaches and local capacity building, we aim to make simple and accessible resilience tools available where they are needed most.

In South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, we are working with local humanitarian actors to strengthen psychosocial support capacities in communities affected by conflict and displacement.

  • Our approach is based on a train-the-trainer model designed to create lasting local impact.

South Kivu: A Current Example

Our objective

  • 🎯 Train at least 33 local humanitarian workers

🎯 Strengthen local psychosocial support capacities

🎯 Reach more than 7,000 beneficiaries indirectly through community-based transmission and peer support networks

We believe that sustainable resilience grows when knowledge remains within communities and can be shared long after a project ends.
